FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF News) – Officials with the City of Frisco have released a statement addressing the DWI arrest of Mayor Pro Tem Tim Nelson last week.
According to the police report, on Tuesday July 18th, Nelson was allegedly swerving across lanes near HWY 121 and Preston Road before he was pulled over and charged with driving while intoxicated.
In a statement, officials said “The city is aware of the allegation which will be resolved in a court of law. The City of Frisco respects and has confidence in the court system.”
Nelson has been a councilman for place 5 since 2011.
