McKinney Martial Arts Instructor Accused of Sexually Assaulting Two Teenage Girls

MCKINNEY  (WBAP/KLIF News) – A martial arts instructor in McKinney has been accused of  sexually assaulting two of his teenage students.

Police said Timothy Lee Vidal, an instructor at Tiger Rock Martial Arts on Virginia Parkway, was arrested April 5 after one of his students claimed he took her to a Holiday Inn in Allen to have sex with her.

He was booked into the Collin County Jail and his bail has been set at $225,000. After news of his arrest went public, another victim came forward.

According to an affidavit, the girl told investigators that Vidal allegedly forced her to have sex with him four times in the last six months.

It also stated that one of Vidal’s former colleagues told police Vidal allegedly admitted to assaulting one of his students.

Tiger Rock Martial Arts says Vidal has been fired from the school. The academy released a statement that read in part:

“We take this situation very seriously and are committed to providing a safe environment for all members. We have a no tolerance policy and took swift and immediate action upon learning of these allegations on Monday.

Although we are collectively saddened and shocked about this situation, we stand together as a community of families that is totally committed to a positive future and a continuation of our work and mission.”
