Grapevine (WBAP/KLIF News) – Grapevine Police have called in the feds to help sort out a grisly discovery in a park near Lake Grapevine.
A 9-1-1 call came in early this morning, saying there were burnt human remains in a park in the Acorn Woods.
“We contacted the FBI with their evidence recovery team, to assist in this investigation,” said Sergeant Robert Eberling of the Grapevine PD. “The body was burned, and appears to be dismembered to a certain degree.”
The crime scene is near the Scotts Landing Marina.
Oak Grove Loop is shut down between East Dove Loop and the Darren G Medlin Trail.
