Tonya Couch’s Bond Conditions Eased

COUCH ATTORNEYFORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – Tonya Couch, the mother of so-called “Affluenza Teen” Ethan Couch, appeared in court Monday after being indicted on money laundering and hindering apprehension charges.

Couch’s attorney, Don Carter, said Couch’s bond conditions were changed so she can more easily find employment.

Tonya Couch had been under house arrest and ordered to wear a GPS monitor.

Ethan Couch is serving two years in the Tarrant County Jail for probation violation when he and his mother fled to Mexico.

Ethan Couch was convicted in a 2013 drunken driving crash that killed four people. He was originally given a 10-year probation sentenced.
