WEATHERFORD – A Parker County teenager was arrested for allegedly groping a teenage girl in the Weatherford Library when he returned to the scene, according to police. Weatherford Police Commander Chris Crawford says, “A middle school aged girl told her mother, who told police, that a man touched her under her clothes inside the library on Monday. A detective was on scene investigating the case Tuesday, when the librarian pointed out that a young man matching the description of the suspect had just entered the library. During an interview with police, 18 year old John Michael Hoffman of Parker County confessed to touching the girl,” Crawford said.
Hoffman is expected to be charged with indecency with a child with sexual contact, a second-degree felony, Weatherford police said. He is being held on $75,000 bond.
