DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A public memorial service for WFAA-TV food reporter Stacy Fawcett is planned for Tuesday at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
Fawcett and her son, Josiah Utu, 17, were murdered in their home Thursday by her other son, McCann Utu Jr., who fatally stabbed himself.
Family and friends said McCann had suffered severe head trauma while playing sports and they said they had seen a noticeable mental change in the last few months.
The memorial is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family pay for the funeral services. Any unused funds will be donated to the North Texas Food Bank.
