More Violence at Dallas Tent City

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A homeless man and woman are accused of assaulting several people at “Tent City” near downtown Dallas.

Cops were called to the location under Interstate 45 after the suspect and his girlfriend allegedly threatened several other residents with a hatchet.

A police report says they were upset because items were missing from their tent. Both were taken to jail.

Last month, a man was stabbed to death at the encampment.

Dallas city officials hope to have the area closed by early May.
