FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF NEWS) – A boil water mandate for parts of northern Fort Worth has been rescinded.

The Water Department just released a statement saying all tests for bacteria came back negative.

Since early yesterday morning, about three to five thousand residents of neighborhoods west of Alliance Airport had been advised not to drink their tap water for fear of contamination.

It happened when human error shut down an above ground water tank on Harmon Road.
