Right before the terrorist attacks in Paris, President Barack Obama said that ISIS had been contained and Monday at the G-20 Summit in Turkey, he admitted that the French attacks were a setback while at the same time saying the strategy the U.S. is using is correct. It’s just going to take some time.
Well, at the Democratic presidential debate Saturday night, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was riveting, distancing herself from Obama saying ISIS cannot be contained. She said it has to be extinguished and that means putting U.S. troops on the ground and I couldn’t agree more even though Obama says his military advisors call it a bad idea.
For me, after what happened in Paris, I’d strap my boots back on to fight with my fellow American soldiers as well as soldiers from all over Europe to destroy ISIS.
In fact, the U.S. should be leading the way especially after a new video has come out purportedly showing ISIS members threatening to hit Washington D.C. as well.
Put it like this. If I were president, I’d have so many U.S. soldiers on the ground with those from Europe tracking ISIS that no one would ever dare put on black clothing and a hood with the eyes cut out and a knife in hand, not even for Halloween. Just saying.
After Paris, Isis has to go by any means necessary
