Like many of my fellow human beings, I have a few weaknesses. The top of the list is a sandwich. For the past few months, I’ve heard the talk and then saw the signs that a Jimmy John’s was headed across from the parking lot of the station and wondered if it would ever open.
Now it has.
Now, I fear I’m going to go in there for lunch and dinner every day considering it is the first time in my life a good chunk of my time will be walking distance from one.
Granted, I’m not about to endorse said sandwich shop as I have a weakness for several. Be it Jersey Mike’s, Potbelly or even Subway that I find just as tasty. Then you graduate to a whole other level with Cindi’s NY Deli and the Deli News in North Dallas. Growing up in the Midwest I had Mr. Goodcents and I wish they would open some North Texas stores.
Now, I will fight the urge with the sandwich shop that advertises “Free smells” and offers what seems to be an endless wall of Mayonnaise.
Once, maybe twice a week? It’s another saga in life. The constant urge for a fantastic sandwich.
