Irving Family Wants Police Shooting Investigated
Irving (WBAP) - An Irving family is calling for an outside investigation after a police officer shot and killed 49-year-old Orlando Rodriguez of Dallas. His niece, Rachel Hernandez says Rodriguez had a B.B. gun, checking on suspicious noises outside his sister's Irving home early Saturday. The family says it doubts the police account, which is that Rodriguez pointed what they thought was a rifle at officers, and that they told him they were police officers.
