A Tarrant County judge sentenced Michael Webb to life in prison. Webb was found guilty of abducting and sexually assaulting an 8-year old Fort Worth girl in May.
U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor is the presiding judge.
Webb also faces 17 several state charges ranging from aggravated kidnapping, aggravated sexual assault of a child (enhanced) and indecency with a child (habitual offender notice).
Two months ago, it took a jury only 15 minutes to convict 51-year old Michael Webb, who snatched the young girl as she walked with her mother in their neighborhood.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Webb, via his attorney’s took steps to try to skip the hearing. Attorneys filed a notice last week seeking to waive his rights to be present.
