LAKE HIGHLANDS (KLIF/WBAP) — A man is critically injured after being shot in an apparent attempted home invasion.
About 5 o’clock Monday morning, police were called to a home in Lake Highlands, and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound outside the residence.
Investigators say the homeowner shot the suspect before me made it inside the home.
We still don’t know what the suspect’s condition is.
One neighbor, just a few houses down, says she heard someone rummaging around in her bushes shortly before the shooting.
