Grapevine Police Searching For Man Who Made Lewd Comments to Underage Girls

GRAPEVINE (WBAP/KLIF News) – Grapevine Police are searching for a man who they said made disturbing comments toward to two young girls inside a Target store.

It happened Sunday afternoon at the location on Ira E. Woods and Northwest Parkway.

The department’s Amanda McNew said the man allegedly approached both girls and mother within a 10-minute time frame.

“He made lewd comments to a 9-year-old girl, sexual comments, and then a few minutes later he went up to another mother with another daughter and basically propositioned her,” she said.

The man left the store before store employees were alerted and police were called.

McNew said the suspect will face criminal charges.

“It’ll be disorderly conduct with language and that’s based on what he said to one of the girls and the mother of another little girl,” she said.

The man was seen driving a gray or gold car and is described as 40-years-old, white and 5″6′ inches tall. He has dark brown or black hair and was wearing a black shirt and pants with black shoes.
